Η σειρά Vigor2860 περιλαμβάνει μοντέλα VDSL2, που λειτουργούν ως broadband routers, αποτελώντας ιδανική λύση για χρήστες ADSL, οι οποίοι προσβλέπουν σε μελλοντική αναβάθμιση των δικτύων τους σε VDSL.
Διαθέτει όλα τα πλεονεκτήματα ενός Security Firewall προσφέροντας ένα απόλυτα ασφαλές δικτυακό περιβάλλον, τόσο για εταιρικούς όσο και για απομακρυσμένους χρήστες.
Η διαφορά του Vigor2860Vac σε σχέση με το απλό Wireless μοντέλο (Vigor2860ac), έγκειται στην υποστήριξη VoIP καθώς διαθέτει 2 FXS θύρες και 1 Line.
Ενσωματώνει VPN 32 καναλιών καθώς και διαχείριση τους μέσα από το Web Interface του Router (VPN Management), δυνατότητες CSM (Content Security Management) για Application/URL/Content Filtering και την αξιοπιστία του Object Based Firewall της DrayTek.
Διαθέτει 2 WAN ports, 2 USB ports και 6-port Gigabit LAN switch για διευκόλυνση της ομαλής λειτουργίας εφαρμογών, οι οποίες χρησιμοποιούν μεγάλος εύρος ζώνης για μεταφορά δεδομένων. Επιπλέον, υποστηρίζει πρόσβαση στο Internet μέσω πολλαπλών συνδέσεων ταυτόχρονα, όπως VDSL2 ή xDSL, Ethernet και 3G/4G USB, ώστε να διασφαλίζεται απρόσκοπτη συνδεσιμότητα, χρησιμοποιώντας τεχνολογίες load balancing και failover backup.
Σημειώνεται ότι η σειρά Vigor2860 είναι “IPV6 ready” και έχει τη δυνατότητα διαχείρισης έως 20 Draytek Access Points (AP Management).
Αξιοσημείωτη είναι και η ενσωμάτωση,μέσω firmware upgrade, λειτουργιών όπως High Availability για απρόσκοπτη λειτουργία του δικτύου σε περίπτωση βλάβης του βασικού router αλλά και του Hotspot Web Portal για User Authentication μέσω Facebook/Google αλλά και εισαγωγής κωδικού PIN.
