If you have got a closet full of HDDs at home, you will surely appreciate this quadruple dock for 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs. Each HDD is recognized as an individual drive and can be easily accessed. The cloning function can run even without a PC, which turns backing up HDD to multiple targets a breeze. The IB-141CL-U3 is not only very practical and efficient, but it is a looker too. Thanks to the fact that where most other manufacturers use only plastic, ICY BOX is using high quality aluminium.

The connection to a PC or laptop is made via a rapid USB 3.0 port. Thanks to the downwards compatibility, even an older USB port (2.0/1.1) could be used. But in their respective transfer rates only, which means 5 Gbit/s is only achievable while using USB 3.0. The device installation is as fast as lightning, thanks to the Plug & Play support as no drivers are necessary. A classy LED indicators provides us with information regarding HDD Access and cloning progress.

The clone war is over

In this docking stations four 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs or SSDs can be used at the same time. The maximum height of 3.5" hard disk should be 8.89 cm, The maximum height of 2.5" hard disks/SSDs is 6.35 cm.

No must

Of course you can use the clone station as a pure HDD Docking, so you can read and write all the hard disks normally. Using the USB 3.0 host this happens at a rate of up to 5 Gbit / s.

An outsider

Cloning bootable disks without being connecting to a PC, is often called standalone. Thereby, the previously occupied USB 3.0 is during the clone operation free for other devices.
